CVE-2018-12022 is an unsafe polymorphic deserialization vulnerability in FasterXML Jackson Databind. In versions before 2.7.9.4, 2.8.11.2, and 2.9.6, enabled Default Typing can permit attacker-controlled type resolution to instantiate Jodd-db connection classes. A crafted serialized payload can cause the application to access an attacker-controlled LDAP service and trigger malicious payload execution.
