Plex Media Server version 1.13.2.5154 contains a vulnerability in its SSDP/UPnP XML parsing engine, which is susceptible to XML External Entity (XXE) attacks. Remote, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this flaw to read arbitrary files from the filesystem with the privileges of the Plex process, initiate SMB connections to capture or relay NetNTLM challenge/response hashes, and potentially achieve remote command execution in Windows domain environments.
