CVE-2018-17934 is a directory traversal vulnerability in the GETCONFIG function of NUUO Central Management Server (CMS), affecting all versions up to and including 3.5.0. The vulnerability allows an authenticated attacker to supply crafted input that results in a file path being resolved outside the intended directory. This enables arbitrary file download from the server's filesystem, potentially exposing sensitive configuration files, credentials, or other restricted information. The flaw is present in the proprietary NUCM protocol over TCP port 5180 and remains unpatched as of version 3.5.0.

This repository contains a single Metasploit auxiliary module targeting Nuuo Central Management Server (CMS) versions up to and including 3.5. The module exploits an authenticated arbitrary file download vulnerability (CVE-2018-17934) via directory traversal in the GETCONFIG method. It allows an attacker with valid credentials or a valid session to download sensitive files from the CMS installation directory, specifically 'CMServer.cfg' (user credentials) and 'ServerConfig.cfg' (database credentials), as well as any other file specified by the user. The downloaded configuration files are ZIP-encrypted and require manual decryption with the password 'NUCMS2007!'. The module is written in Ruby and is designed to be used within the Metasploit framework. No hardcoded network endpoints are present, as the target host is specified at runtime. The exploit is operational and provides significant value for post-authentication attacks against vulnerable Nuuo CMS installations.
