CVE-2018-19323 is a vulnerability in the GDrv low-level driver used by GIGABYTE APP Center v1.05.21 and earlier, AORUS GRAPHICS ENGINE before 1.57, XTREME GAMING ENGINE before 1.26, and OC GURU II v2.08. The driver exposes functionality that allows user-mode processes to read and write Machine Specific Registers (MSRs), which are privileged CPU registers intended for use only by the operating system kernel or hypervisor. This exposure can be leveraged by attackers to perform a range of low-level attacks, including privilege escalation and disabling security features.

This repository is a comprehensive exploitation framework targeting CVE-2018-19323, a critical local privilege escalation vulnerability in the GIGABYTE gdrv.sys Windows driver. The exploit chain leverages an IOCTL (0xC3502580) in the driver to read/write arbitrary Model-Specific Registers (MSRs), specifically targeting the IA32_LSTAR MSR to leak the kernel base and hijack execution flow. The main entry point is 'exploit.py', which orchestrates the attack: it performs anti-analysis and evasion checks, connects to the vulnerable driver (\\.\GIO), leaks the kernel base, injects a token-stealing shellcode to escalate privileges to SYSTEM, and restores the system state. The framework is modular, with separate files for core driver interaction (core.py), payload generation (payloads.py), evasion (evasion.py), monitoring (monitor.py), multi-architecture support (multiarch.py), and C2 framework integration (framework.py). It supports x86, x64, and ARM64 architectures, and can generate payloads for Metasploit, Cobalt Strike, Empire, and Sliver. The framework also includes advanced evasion techniques, persistence mechanisms, and a robust logging/monitoring system. The attack vector is local, requiring code execution on a Windows system with the vulnerable driver. The framework is operational and provides real privilege escalation and payload delivery capabilities.
