SAP Internet Graphics Server (IGS) versions 7.20, 7.20EXT, 7.45, 7.49, and 7.53 are vulnerable to an XML External Entity (XXE) injection due to improper validation of XML input. This allows attackers to submit crafted XML data containing external entities, which the server processes, leading to potential denial of service (DoS) by making the IGS unavailable.

This repository contains a single Metasploit auxiliary module targeting SAP Internet Graphics Server (IGS) XMLCHART XXE vulnerabilities (CVE-2018-2392, CVE-2018-2393). The module allows unauthenticated remote attackers to exploit an XML External Entity (XXE) vulnerability in the XMLCHART page, enabling them to read arbitrary files from the server (such as /etc/passwd) or perform a denial of service (DoS) attack by sending malicious XML payloads. The module is configurable for the target host, port (default 40080), vulnerable path (default /XMLCHART), and file to read. The exploit is operational and provides real file read and DoS capabilities. The main attack vector is network-based, targeting the HTTP interface of SAP IGS. The code is written in Ruby and is structured as a standard Metasploit module.
