CVE-2018-6341 is a cross-site scripting vulnerability in React applications that render HTML on the server using the ReactDOMServer API. Affected versions of react-dom did not properly escape or validate user-supplied HTML attribute names during server-side rendering. If an application incorporated attacker-controlled input into an attribute name, the generated HTML could become unsafe and enable script injection in the client browser. The issue affects the 16.0.x, 16.1.x, 16.2.x, 16.3.x, and 16.4.x release lines and was fixed in 16.0.1, 16.1.2, 16.2.1, 16.3.3, and 16.4.2.
