CVE-2018-7890 is a remote code execution vulnerability in Zoho ManageEngine Applications Manager before version 13.6 (build 13640). The vulnerability exists in the publicly accessible testCredential.do endpoint, which takes user-supplied input and executes a PowerShell script to validate credentials. When the target system is OfficeSharePointServer, the username and password parameters are not properly validated, allowing an attacker to inject arbitrary commands via these parameters, resulting in command injection and remote code execution.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (manageengine_appmanager_exec.rb) that exploits a remote code execution vulnerability (CVE-2018-7890) in ManageEngine Applications Manager. The exploit targets the 'testCredential.do' HTTP endpoint, which is vulnerable to command injection when handling certain POST parameters related to OfficeSharePointServer configuration. The module is unauthenticated and leverages a PowerShell payload to achieve code execution as a privileged user on Windows systems. The exploit is operational and allows the attacker to run arbitrary code (such as a reverse shell) on the target. The code is structured as a standard Metasploit module, with clear separation of initialization, vulnerability checking, and exploitation logic. The only fingerprintable endpoint is the '/testCredential.do' path, and the exploit is delivered via HTTP POST requests. The repository is focused and contains only the exploit module file.
