CVE-2019-0201 is an information-disclosure flaw in Apache ZooKeeper versions 1.0.0 through 3.4.13 and 3.5.0-alpha through 3.5.4-beta. The getACL() command retrieves a requested znode's ACL without enforcing an appropriate permission check and returns the ACL Id field as plaintext. When ZooKeeper Digest Authentication is configured, DigestAuthenticationProvider stores the authentication hash in that field, exposing an unsalted authentication hash to unauthenticated or unprivileged callers.
