CVE-2019-10092 is a limited cross-site scripting vulnerability in Apache HTTP Server mod_proxy affecting versions 2.4.0 through 2.4.39. Crafted request data can cause a link rendered in a canned proxy error response to be malformed and direct the victim to attacker-selected content. The issue results from unsafe handling of URL-derived content in the HTML error page. Apache HTTP Server 2.4.41 corrected the issue by removing HTML-escaped URLs from canned error responses.
