CVE-2019-11540 is a cross-site script inclusion (XSSI) vulnerability in Pulse Connect Secure and Pulse Policy Secure. The affected session-handling endpoint renders a session identifier in JavaScript, enabling an attacker-controlled page to include the response cross-origin and recover the victim's DSID session cookie. Disclosure of the DSID undermines DSID-based CSRF protections and permits hijacking of an authenticated end-user session.
