CVE-2019-11811 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel IPMI system-interface implementation prior to Linux 5.0.4. A stale IPMI I/O-resource reference can be accessed through /proc/ioports while the IPMI system-interface module is being unloaded. The resulting race condition can permit use of freed kernel memory.
