In TortoiseSVN 1.12.1, the tsvncmd: URI handler allows a customised diff operation on Excel workbooks. When invoked with a specially crafted URI, it executes diff-xls.js using wscript for .xls files, opening the files without triggering Excel's macro security warnings. This allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code by embedding malicious macros in a remote workbook and coercing a victim to open it via the tsvncmd URI.
