CVE-2019-15043 is a vulnerability in Grafana versions 2.x through 6.x before 6.3.4, where the /api/snapshots HTTP API endpoint allows unauthenticated users to create dashboard snapshots via POST requests. This endpoint does not require authentication, enabling attackers to send repeated or large requests that fill the server's disk space, resulting in a denial-of-service (DoS) condition. The vulnerability is particularly impactful in internal deployments where Grafana is used for infrastructure monitoring, as it can disrupt critical observability functions.
