CVE-2019-15975 describes multiple vulnerabilities in the authentication mechanisms of Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) that could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to bypass authentication and perform arbitrary actions with administrative privileges. The affected attack surfaces include the DCNM REST API, SOAP API, and web interface, enabling administrative-level operations without valid credentials.

This repository contains a single Metasploit auxiliary module targeting Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM) systems vulnerable to CVE-2019-15975. The exploit leverages a session-stealing technique to bypass authentication and add a new global-admin user with attacker-specified credentials. The module communicates with the DCNM web interface over HTTPS, using a hardcoded AES key to forge a valid session token. The main functionality is implemented in the 'run' method, which attempts to add the admin account and reports the result. The module requires that an admin has recently logged in to the target system. The only endpoints directly targeted are the DCNM web interface root (for time leakage) and the '/fm/fmrest/dbadmin/addUser' endpoint (for user creation). The exploit is operational and provides full administrative access if successful. The code is written in Ruby and is structured as a standard Metasploit module.
