CVE-2019-15984 is a SQL injection vulnerability in the REST and SOAP API endpoints of Cisco Data Center Network Manager (DCNM). An authenticated, remote attacker with administrative privileges can execute arbitrary SQL commands on the affected device. The vulnerability arises from insufficient sanitization of user-supplied input in API requests, allowing crafted requests to manipulate backend SQL queries. The risk is exacerbated by related authentication bypass vulnerabilities (CVE-2019-15975, CVE-2019-15976, CVE-2019-15977), which could allow attackers to gain administrative access and subsequently exploit this SQL injection flaw.
