CVE-2019-17506 is an authentication bypass vulnerability affecting D-Link DIR-868L B1-2.03 and DIR-817LW A1-1.04 routers. Certain web interfaces on these devices do not require authentication, allowing an attacker to retrieve sensitive information such as the router's username and password by exploiting the DEVICE.ACCOUNT value for SERVICES in conjunction with AUTHORIZED_GROUP=1%0a in requests to getcfg.php. This flaw enables attackers to access most of the router's PHP logic and can lead to full compromise of the device.
