CVE-2019-2557 is a vulnerability in the Load Testing for Web Apps subcomponent of Oracle Application Testing Suite (part of Oracle Enterprise Manager Products Suite), version 13.3.0.1. The flaw allows a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to perform unauthorized update, insert, or delete operations on data accessible to the Application Testing Suite, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of data. Additionally, the attacker can cause a partial denial of service (DOS) of the Application Testing Suite. The vulnerability is easily exploitable and does not require user interaction.

This repository contains a single Metasploit auxiliary module targeting Oracle Application Testing Suite (OATS) and exploiting CVE-2019-2557. The exploit abuses a directory traversal vulnerability in the DownloadServlet endpoint, allowing an authenticated attacker to download arbitrary files from the server as SYSTEM. The module requires valid credentials (default or administrator accounts) and interacts with several OATS endpoints to authenticate and perform the attack. The main file, 'modules/auxiliary/gather/oats_downloadservlet_traversal.rb', is written in Ruby and leverages Metasploit's HTTP client mixin. The exploit is operational, providing file download capability, and can be used to obtain sensitive configuration files, which may lead to further compromise. The attack vector is network-based, and the main fingerprintable endpoints are '/olt/download' (for exploitation), '/olt/faces/login' (for authentication), and '/olt/' (for service detection).
