CVE-2019-4279 is a critical remote code execution vulnerability in IBM WebSphere Application Server ND (versions 8.5 and 9.0) and WebSphere Virtual Enterprise (version 7.0). The vulnerability arises from insecure deserialization of untrusted data, allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the affected system by sending a specially-crafted sequence of serialized objects. The issue affects multiple platforms, including AIX, HP-UX, IBM i, Linux, Solaris, Windows, and z/OS.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module targeting IBM Websphere Application Server Network Deployment (WAS ND) Deployment Manager (DMGR) for a remote code execution vulnerability via Java deserialization (CVE-2019-4279). The exploit connects to the DMGR service over TCP (default port 11006, but also supports 11002 and 11004), sends a crafted serialized Java object to trigger the vulnerability, and can execute arbitrary commands or upload and run a Windows executable on the target. The module supports both command shell and binary payloads, and includes cleanup routines to remove artifacts. The code is written in Ruby and leverages Metasploit's libraries for network communication, payload generation, and file management. The exploit is operational and can be used to gain privileged code execution on vulnerable IBM WAS ND DMGR instances.
