In Vtiger CRM 7.1.0 prior to Hotfix2, the logo upload functionality allows files with a .php3 extension to be uploaded if the file is a PNG image of size 150x40. Attackers can embed PHP code within such an image, which is then executed by the server due to insufficient validation of file content and extension. The vulnerability is present in actions/CompanyDetailsSave.php, actions/UpdateCompanyLogo.php, and models/CompanyDetails.php, allowing bypass of the bad-file-extensions protection mechanism.
