WooCommerce PayPal Checkout Payment Gateway plugin version 1.6.8 for WordPress permits tampering with payment-flow amount parameters, including parameters such as amount_1, through the cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_cart endpoint. An attacker can alter the submitted amount to a value lower than the intended item price. Before an order is completed, the plugin validates the amount against the WooCommerce order total; mismatched payments leave the order in an On Hold state.
