CVE-2020-10882 is an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability in the tdpServer service on affected TP-Link Archer A7 AC1750 firmware, and related Archer C7 firmware sharing the same binaries. The vulnerable service listens on UDP port 20002 by default and processes TDP packets containing an AES-CBC-encrypted JSON payload. The flaw is in handling of the slave_mac parameter, specifically in the code path reached via a crafted slave_key_offer message. The service does not properly validate or sanitize the attacker-controlled slave_mac value before embedding it into a command string and passing it to system(). Reverse-engineering described in the supporting content identifies the vulnerable logic in function FUN_00414d14, where snprintf is used to construct a Lua command invoking luci.controller.admin.onenmesh.sync_wifi_specified with attacker-influenced input. Because the input reaches a system() call without proper neutralization of shell metacharacters, a network-adjacent attacker can inject arbitrary commands and achieve code execution as root.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (Ruby file) that exploits an unauthenticated command injection vulnerability in the tdpServer daemon of TP-Link Archer A7/C7 (AC1750) routers (hardware v5, firmware up to 201029/201030). The exploit works over the LAN by sending specially crafted UDP packets to port 20002, allowing arbitrary command execution as root without authentication. The module can deliver a MIPSBE reverse shell payload or execute arbitrary commands/binaries on the target. It includes a version check mechanism that fingerprints the router's firmware via HTTP requests to specific manifest files. The exploit is weaponized, providing reliable remote code execution and is part of the Metasploit framework. The only code file is the exploit module itself, written in Ruby.
