CVE-2020-10969 is an unsafe deserialization vulnerability in FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.10.4. The library mishandles the interaction of polymorphic type handling with serialization gadgets associated with javax.swing.JEditorPane. When attacker-controlled serialized data is processed under unsafe polymorphic typing settings, crafted type information can cause instantiation and invocation of gadget classes.
