Titan SpamTitan 7.07 improperly sanitizes the community parameter handled by the snmp-x.php page. A remote attacker can inject commands into the SNMP daemon configuration, enabling command execution on the target server.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (spamtitan_unauth_rce.rb) that exploits an unauthenticated remote code execution vulnerability (CVE-2020-11698) in TitanHQ SpamTitan Gateway versions 7.01, 7.02, 7.03, and 7.07 running on FreeBSD. The exploit works by sending a crafted HTTP POST request to the /snmp-x.php endpoint, injecting malicious SNMP configuration directives into the snmpd.conf file. The attacker then triggers the payload by sending a specially crafted SNMP Get-Request to the target's SNMP service (UDP port 161), causing the injected command to execute as root. The module supports multiple payloads, including reverse shells for both x86 and x64 FreeBSD, and can operate in both authenticated and unauthenticated modes depending on the target version. The code is weaponized, leveraging Metasploit's payload and command staging capabilities, and is suitable for real-world exploitation. The only file in the repository is the Metasploit module itself, written in Ruby.
