Electron before 8.5.2, 9.3.1, 10.1.2, and 11.0.0-beta.6 contains a context isolation bypass. The issue affects applications that enable contextIsolation together with either sandbox: true or nodeIntegrationInSubFrames: true (the advisory summary also references nativeWindowOpen:true, but the primary description specifies sandbox: true and nodeIntegrationInSubFrames: true). Under these conditions, code executing in the renderer's main world context can reach into the isolated Electron context, defeating the intended separation boundary and enabling access to privileged Electron functionality.
