CVE-2020-16137 is a privilege escalation vulnerability in Cisco Unified IP Conference Station 7937G (firmware versions 1-4-4-0 through 1-4-5-7). The vulnerability exists in the localmenus.cgi script exposed via the web administration portal, which allows an attacker to reset the credentials for the SSH administrative console to arbitrary values. This can be exploited if both the web and SSH interfaces are enabled, granting an attacker administrative access to the device.

This repository is the official Metasploit Framework, a comprehensive and modular exploitation platform widely used for penetration testing, vulnerability research, and red teaming. The structure includes configuration files, Ruby code for the core framework, data files for exploits (including resources for CVEs such as CVE-2008-6508, CVE-2010-0842, and CVE-2012-0013), and various templates and binaries to support exploitation and post-exploitation activities. The framework supports both network and local attack vectors, enabling exploitation of remote services as well as local privilege escalation. Key fingerprintable endpoints include configuration files (e.g., database.yml), exploit resource files, and plugin descriptors. The repository is highly mature, weaponized, and supports a wide range of payloads and modules, making it a central tool for offensive security professionals.
