CVE-2020-35728 is an unsafe polymorphic deserialization vulnerability in FasterXML Jackson Databind 2.x before 2.9.10.8. When Jackson typing is used, attacker-controlled serialized data can select the Oracle WebLogic-shaded Xalan JNDIConnectionPool class present through embedded Xalan dependencies, causing its gadget behavior to be invoked during deserialization.
