Dell EMC OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA) 9.4 and earlier contains multiple path traversal vulnerabilities in its Web API. An unauthenticated remote attacker can submit a crafted API request containing directory-traversal character sequences to access files on the affected management station.

This repository contains a Python proof-of-concept exploit for CVE-2020-5377, an arbitrary file read vulnerability in Dell OpenManage Server Administrator (OMSA). The main file, CVE-2020-5377.py, implements the exploit logic. It first launches a local HTTPS server to mimic a Dell OMSA remote system, generating a self-signed certificate if needed. The script then authenticates to the target OMSA instance using a crafted POST request to the LoginServlet endpoint, extracting session cookies from the response. With these credentials, it allows the user to interactively specify file paths, which are then requested from the target's DownloadServlet endpoint, exploiting the vulnerability to read arbitrary files from the server. The exploit is network-based and requires the attacker to know the target's IP and port. The repository also includes a README.md with usage instructions. No detection scripts or fake code are present; this is a functional proof-of-concept exploit.
