CVE-2020-7356 is a critical unauthenticated SQL injection vulnerability in Cayin Digital Signage System xPost (versions 1.0, 2.0, and 2.5.18103). The vulnerability exists in the 'wayfinder_seqid' GET parameter of the wayfinder_meeting_input.jsp page, where user input is not properly sanitized before being used in SQL queries. This allows attackers to inject arbitrary SQL code, which can be leveraged to execute system commands, resulting in remote code execution. The issue affects deployments running on Windows with Apache Tomcat and MySQL.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module (Ruby file) that exploits an unauthenticated blind SQL injection vulnerability in Cayin xPost (versions <=2.5) via the 'wayfinder_seqid' parameter in the 'wayfinder_meeting_input.jsp' endpoint. The exploit leverages the SQL injection to write a JSP payload (reverse or bind shell) to the webroot directory (default: C:/CayinApps/webapps/) on the target Windows system. The module includes version detection logic by querying specific endpoints and checks for the presence of the vulnerable application. Upon successful exploitation, the attacker gains SYSTEM-level remote code execution. The exploit is operational, requires the target to be accessible over HTTP (default port 80), and is designed for use within the Metasploit framework. The payloads supported are Java/JSP webshells, and the module is attributed to h00die and Gjoko Krstic (LiquidWorm).
