CVE-2021-1473 is a remote command injection vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Small Business RV Series Routers. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send crafted requests to the management interface and cause the device to execute arbitrary commands. The issue affects the management plane of multiple RV series models and can be exploited over the network without prior authentication when the vulnerable interface is reachable.

This repository contains a single Metasploit module targeting Cisco Small Business RV series routers (models RV340, RV340w, RV345, RV345P) running firmware 1.0.03.20 or below. The exploit leverages two vulnerabilities: an authentication bypass (CVE-2021-1472) and a command injection (CVE-2021-1473) in the /upload HTTP endpoint. The module sends a specially crafted POST request to /upload, using a manipulated Authorization header to bypass authentication and injecting commands via the Cookie header, which are executed by the device's upload.cgi binary. The exploit supports both direct command execution (reverse shell) and staged payloads (Meterpreter) for ARMLE architecture. The code is weaponized, allowing for easy payload customization and reliable exploitation. The only code file is a Ruby Metasploit module, and the attack vector is remote network-based, requiring only access to the device's web interface.
