CVE-2021-21602 is an improper link-resolution vulnerability in Jenkins 2.274 and earlier and Jenkins LTS 2.263.1 and earlier. Jenkins file browsers for workspaces, archived artifacts, and user content follow symbolic links without adequately constraining the resolved target to the intended browsed directory. A user able to place or control a symbolic link can use the browser to read files located outside that directory.
