CVE-2021-27918 is an infinite-loop vulnerability in Go's standard-library encoding/xml package. In Go releases before 1.15.9 and 1.16.x before 1.16.1, the Decode, DecodeElement, and Skip methods can fail to terminate when xml.NewTokenDecoder is initialized with a custom TokenReader that returns EOF in the middle of an XML element.
