CVE-2021-3759 is a missing-accounting flaw in the Linux kernel memory-control-group (memcg) IPC subsystem. Repeated semaphore-set creation through semget can create IPC objects whose memory usage is not correctly charged to the calling memory cgroup. This permits the process to exceed configured memcg memory limits and consume host memory.
