CVE-2021-40875 is an improper access control vulnerability in Gurock TestRail versions prior to 7.2.0.3014. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated or unauthorized users to access the /files.md5 endpoint, which exposes a list of all application files and their paths. This information can be leveraged to enumerate the application's file structure and, in some cases, access files containing hardcoded credentials, API keys, or other sensitive data.
