CVE-2021-40964 is a path traversal vulnerability in TinyFileManager affecting all versions up to and including 2.4.6. The flaw exists in file upload handling where the application accepts a user-controlled "fullpath" parameter without properly neutralizing traversal sequences. An attacker can supply path traversal strings such as ../ or ..\ in the fullpath value to escape the application’s intended working directory and cause uploaded files to be written to arbitrary directories on the underlying server. The provided context indicates exploitation is possible by an authenticated administrator, or by leveraging a separate CSRF issue to induce an authorized upload request.

Repository contains a single Bash exploit script (CVE-2021-40964_ZERO.sh) plus a README. The script targets Tiny File Manager <= 2.4.6 and performs an authenticated remote code execution chain: (1) logs in with provided admin credentials and extracts the session cookie from the Set-Cookie header; (2) attempts to leak the server webroot path by sending a crafted POST to the upload endpoint and parsing the JSON response with jq/grep; (3) creates a simple PHP webshell locally in /tmp and uploads it to the target using the Tiny File Manager upload feature with a path traversal in the multipart field 'fullpath' to place the file into <webroot>/uploads/; (4) verifies execution by calling the uploaded shell with cmd=echo found; (5) provides an interactive loop that POSTs arbitrary commands to the webshell via the 'cmd' parameter. The exploit is operational (includes a working payload and interactive command execution) and is network-based, requiring valid authentication.
