CVE-2021-41184 is a cross-site scripting vulnerability in jQuery UI versions before 1.13.0. The .position() utility processes the of option unsafely when an application supplies an untrusted value, allowing attacker-controlled content to be interpreted in a manner that can execute script in the browser. Version 1.13.0 changes handling so string values supplied to of are treated as CSS selectors.
