CVE-2021-43565 is an improper input-validation vulnerability in the golang.org/x/crypto/ssh package. The readCipherPacket() function does not safely handle an empty plaintext SSH packet. An unauthenticated client can send this malformed packet to an SSH server implemented with an affected version of the package, causing the server process to panic.
