A vulnerability in the Linux kernel (through 5.15.2) exists in the mwifiex_usb_recv function within drivers/net/wireless/marvell/mwifiex/usb.c. An attacker with the ability to connect a specially crafted USB device can trigger a skb_over_panic, resulting in a denial of service condition. The flaw is due to insufficient validation of data received from USB devices, leading to kernel panic.
