CVE-2021-47548 is an out-of-bounds array access in the Linux kernel HiSilicon HNS Ethernet driver's DSAF miscellaneous component. In hns_dsaf_ge_srst_by_port(), the port argument was validated against DSAF_GE_NUM (8), but subsequently used to index the mac_cb array, which contains only DSAF_MAX_PORT_NUM (6) entries. Values 6 and 7 therefore pass the original validation and cause an access beyond the end of mac_cb while retrieving the port reset offset. The fix rejects port values greater than or equal to DSAF_MAX_PORT_NUM before indexing the array.
