CVE-2022-0391 is an improper URL sanitization flaw in Python's urllib.parse module. The urlparse method permits carriage-return, newline, and tab characters in URL paths rather than removing or neutralizing them. An attacker who can cause an application to parse a crafted URL can use these control characters in injection attacks. The issue affects Python releases before 3.10.0b1, 3.9.5, 3.8.11, 3.7.11, and 3.6.14.
