CVE-2022-24450 is an incorrect access-control vulnerability in NATS nats-server versions before 2.7.2. An authenticated client can misuse dynamically provisioned sandbox accounts by crafting its initial handshake to enter another account, including the NATS System account. This bypasses account isolation and permits escalation from privileges in any valid account to System-account privileges.
