CVE-2022-25089 affects Printix Secure Cloud Print Management through version 1.3.1106.0. The product incorrectly uses privileged APIs to modify values under the Windows HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE registry hive via UITasks.PersistentRegistryData. Because HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE is a system-wide registry location that normally requires elevated privileges for modification, exposing or misusing privileged functionality in this code path can allow unauthorized modification of protected registry data and weaken intended privilege boundaries.
