CVE-2022-25173 is an OS command injection vulnerability in Jenkins Pipeline: Groovy Plugin (workflow-cps) version 2648.va9433432b33c and earlier. When retrieving a Pipeline script from source control, the plugin reuses checkout directories across distinct SCM configurations. An attacker with Item/Configure permission can craft SCM contents that cause arbitrary operating-system commands to be invoked on the Jenkins controller.
