JetBrains Hub versions before 2022.1.14434 contain a SAML request takeover vulnerability. An attacker could potentially take over SAML authentication requests, which may enable unauthorized access or impersonation within JetBrains Hub.
Mallory correlates every CVE against your assets, your vendors, and active adversary campaigns. Know which vulnerabilities matter for you, not just which ones are loud.

This repository provides a proof-of-concept exploit for CVE-2022-25262, a vulnerability in JetBrains Hub (versions prior to 2022.1.14434) when configured as a SAML Identity Provider with the YouTrack Konnektor service enabled. The exploit consists of a Python script ('exploit.py') that runs a FastAPI web server. The server exposes an endpoint ('/get-exploit-link') which, when accessed with appropriate parameters, generates a malicious OAuth2 authorization URL targeting the victim's Hub instance. The attacker sends this link to a victim; if the victim is authenticated and completes the OAuth flow, the attacker's server receives an authorization code, which can be exchanged for a SAML response, effectively allowing SAML response takeover. The repository also includes a README.md with detailed vulnerability explanation, usage instructions, and a requirements.txt listing Python dependencies. The exploit is a working PoC and demonstrates a real attack chain, but does not include weaponized automation beyond the phishing link generation and code capture.
