CVE-2022-25842 affects all versions of the package com.alibaba.oneagent:one-java-agent-plugin. The vulnerability is an arbitrary file write caused by improper handling of archive extraction paths (Zip Slip). A specially crafted archive containing directory traversal filenames such as ../../evil.exe can escape the intended extraction directory and write files to attacker-chosen locations on the filesystem. By overwriting executable files, an attacker may be able to cause those files to be executed later, resulting in command execution on the victim system.
