CVE-2022-29593 is an authentication bypass vulnerability in relay_cgi.cgi on Dingtian DT-R002 2-channel relay devices running firmware 3.1.276A. The device accepts replayed HTTP POST requests and does not require valid authentication or a fresh signed or otherwise authorized request for the action to be processed. As a result, previously observed legitimate control requests, or sufficiently similar requests, can be resent to the device to trigger relay operations. The flaw enables unauthorized command execution against the relay control interface and undermines the intended access control for switching attached equipment.

This repository provides a working exploit for CVE-2022-29593, an authentication bypass vulnerability in the Dingtian DT-R002 2CH Smart Relay (firmware V3.1.276A). The exploit leverages the device's HTTP interface, which allows unauthenticated requests to control the relay states (on/off) via the /relay_cgi.cgi endpoint. The main exploit script (cve-2022-29593.py) is a Python program that takes the target device's IP address and relay number as arguments, then sends crafted HTTP GET requests to toggle the relay. The README.md provides detailed technical background, including default device configuration (SSID, PSK, IP), example HTTP requests, and evidence of the vulnerability. The repository is structured with a single exploit script, a README with technical and exploitation details, and a configuration file for documentation purposes. The exploit is operational and demonstrates real-world impact by allowing attackers to control physical devices without authentication.
