CVE-2022-29599 is an OS command injection vulnerability in Apache Maven Shared Utils before version 3.3.3. The Commandline class, specifically its BourneShell command-line quoting behavior, can emit double-quoted strings without correctly escaping shell-significant content. If attacker-controlled input reaches this command construction path and the resulting command is interpreted by a shell, injected shell syntax can alter the intended command.
