CVE-2022-33098 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Magnolia CMS v6.2.19. The issue is present in the Edit Contact function, where a crafted SVG document containing JavaScript can be supplied as a profile picture. Insufficient validation or sanitization of uploaded or rendered SVG content allows attacker-controlled script or HTML to be executed in the context of the Magnolia CMS web application when the malicious profile image is processed or viewed.
