CVE-2022-33743 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel Xen netfront driver's XDP packet-processing path. While adding XDP support, a control-flow label was moved such that socket buffers (SKBs) whose references had been retained for subsequent processing could still be freed. A Xen network backend can thereby cause the guest's netfront driver to access freed SKBs. The issue affects Linux kernel versions 5.9 through 5.18.
