A vulnerability in the NT auth module of OpenAM prior to version 14.6.6 allows an attacker to perform a 'replace Samba username attack.' This likely involves manipulating the authentication process to substitute or spoof a Samba username, potentially bypassing authentication controls or gaining unauthorized access.

1 valid exploit after Mallory filtered fakes, detection scripts, and README-only repos.
This repository contains a single Python proof-of-concept exploit script targeting an authentication/impersonation vulnerability in ForgeRock OpenAM. The script allows an attacker with valid credentials to impersonate another user by exploiting a logic flaw in the authentication flow. It constructs a crafted authentication request, injecting a payload into the password field to bypass normal authentication checks. The script is configurable via command-line arguments for the attacker's credentials, victim username, server, port, realm, and protocol (HTTP/HTTPS). It interacts with the OpenAM authentication API endpoints, first obtaining a session token, then submitting the crafted payload, and finally verifying if the impersonation was successful by querying the current user session. The exploit demonstrates a network-based attack vector and is a functional PoC, but does not include weaponized or post-exploitation features.
