CVE-2022-35957 is an improper privilege-management vulnerability in Grafana Auth Proxy deployments. An authenticated Grafana administrator can abuse the datasource proxy with a crafted localhost datasource and an X-WEBAUTH-USER header to cause privilege escalation from the Grafana Admin role to the Server Admin role. The issue affects Grafana releases before the applicable fixed versions, including versions prior to 9.1.6 and 8.5.13.
